What is FinNifty?
Twenty equities from different financial institutions and service firms listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India make up the share market index known as Finnifty or NIFTY financial services. Nifty is an acronym for National Stock Exchange of India. Like the Nifty 50, these stocks are chosen based on their market capitalization in free float.
The Fin nifty index is designed to monitor the growth and performance of the Indian financial industry and give investors a benchmark for that sector's performance.
